Item 235, DELIVERY WITHOUT SIGNATURE OR RECEIPT/ WAIVER OF DELIVERY RECEIPT SIGNATURE
Carrier may deliver without signature only when a written authorization signature is fully executed by consignee and satisfactorily on file with carrier prior to delivery.
Carrier assumes no liability for loss or damage to freight delivered without a receipt. Carriers
agent will make notification on delivery receipt of the date and time such delivery is made.
Consignor or consignee must authorize in writing DHE to leave at a designated area of consignee’s address where no representative of the consignee is present to sign in order for the shipment to be left unattended.
