Job Openings - Rate / Audit Clerk

Dependable Highway Express (DHE), a large transportation company, seeks a Rate / Audit Clerk to work in our Corporate LTL Division.  DHE is a stable and rapidly expanding company with long roots in Los Angeles Transportation. 

 

This position requires:

 

·         AA Degree in either Transportation, Logistics, or Accounting

·         A minimum of 2-years practical experience, knowledge and application of LTL and truckload pricing in a common carrier environment. 

·         Familiarity with NMFC standards.

·         Good typing and strong computer skills including MS Excel and MS Word.

·         Professional telephone etiquette skills

·         Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Providing rate quotes over the telephone and thru e-mail requests
  • Auditing invoices
  • Auditing accounts
  • Corrections
  • Maintenance of file structures
  • Report generation
  • Support of and coordination with the Pricing Department and the Sales Department
